Jarrod Beckstrom

Director of Development

Jarrod Beckstrom is a Director of Development at Apex Clean Energy, where he leads the advancement of utility-scale renewable energy projects across the Upper Midwest and Mid-South. He is deeply committed to rural economic development and responsible environmental stewardship, working to deliver projects that create lasting value for local communities.

With more than seven years of hands-on operations experience as a wind turbine technician and site manager, Jarrod brings a practical, ground-level perspective to project development. His background provides him with a strong understanding of the tangible economic and community benefits that renewable energy projects can generate. Since joining Apex in 2021, he has managed projects from early-stage development through late-stage execution, navigating complex stakeholder, regulatory, and landowner engagement processes.

Jarrod holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism Studies from University of Denver, an Associate of Applied Science in Wind Turbine Technology from Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City, and an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology. Outside of work, he enjoys playing music, spending time outdoors, and being with his wife and three children.
